Dave Shogren - Bass

Dave first picked up a bass in 29 years ago and has been playing ever since. He cut his teeth on the hard rock, heavy metal and punk rock songs of the 70’s, and polished his style and expanded his range by playing jazz extensively in college. In the last few years, the blues added another dimension to Dave’s playing. Dave's played the blues with Delta Strings, and he can be heard on their self-produced CD titled “Noddin the Blues.” Dave also played bass with the blues and classic rock band Maggies Redemption. In addition to holding down the bottom end of Barefoot Jones, Dave also plays jazz with the Rich Stewart quartet and and with the "surfabilly" band the Cor-Dels. In 2004 Dave played with "Charleville". Dave has made St. Louis Missouri his home since 1984.
